Dear Colleagues,
FlowMetric’s labs and offices are fully operational and we continue to support our sponsors, their projects, and patients. Under direction from the Governor’s office, FlowMetric is considered an essential business and thus we are doing everything we can to retain strong business continuity while keeping our employees and our community safe.
Over the past 10 years, FlowMetric has lived by the core value of helping improve the lives of people, including patients, customers, and our employees. This enduring mission guides us as we face the challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve been monitoring the outbreak since the beginning of this year. Our senior multi-disciplinary response team reports directly to the CEO, providing daily updates regarding our business continuity plans in response to the challenges that this pandemic brings. We are keeping up with daily guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other global, national and state health organizations in order to utilize all recommended “best practices.”
We are committed to business continuity as well as the safety and health of our employees, their families, and our community. We continue to initiate new studies from early development through Phase IV clinical studies within our fully functioning, labs operating in accordance with GLP/GCLP regulations and guidelines.
We have implemented the following procedures throughout our organization:
- Posting up to date CDC Guidelines for effective personal hygiene throughout our offices and labs
- Following social distancing guidelines for the workplace by minimizing the number of employees coming into our facility and working on a staggered schedule
- Eliminating any and all non-essential travel by our employees; mandating social distancing; and adopting video conferencing for all group meetings.
- Maintaining a daily, all-hands company conference call with our employees to provide updates and to “whiteboard” in real time challenges, questions or concerns.
Throughout this pandemic, we will continue to provide strong communication and support channels to companies & agencies that are experiencing logistical difficulties in sustaining their clinical programs during this ever-changing situation.
We continue to assess the potential impact of COVID-19 on timelines and deliverables, and we are confident in our team’s capabilities to deliver with uncompromising scientific rigor, quality, and professionalism.
If you have any questions about how FlowMetric can support your programs through the coming months, please contact us directly through our website www.FlowMetric.com.
Please, stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
